Electric Mustang
The 100% Electric 1965 Mustang shot for Duke’s Garage during the Colorado Wine Festival

I am available for both on location and in studio production of photography and video. The process begins with a phone call or email and then followed up with a meeting over coffee at Amante here in Boulder (yes, I have a favorite) or on the phone to confirm creative direction and the concept/logistics for your project. If you’re short on time, I can get what we need without meeting in person, but it’s always nice to meet my clients before the day of the shoot.
Pricing is based on the licensing model and our cost of doing business. An estimate is comprised of 2 parts: Creation and Licensing/Usage. Each project is unique – requiring different equipment, techniques, licensing needs and more – and I take all these aspects into consideration when producing an estimate.
Here’s what some of my clients have had to say:
Eric Schwers, Owner and CEO of Baskit, men’s apparel
Allen makes it work – I’ve been working with professional photographers for several years as a part of my men’s apparel business. The one thing I have come to accept is that no matter how much you plan out the shoot you cannot plan for how it eventually turns out. There always seems to be an unforeseen issue. At the moment this issue arises I am always confronted with the true character and skill of the photographer. I have seen presumably professionals and experienced photographers lose it. This is where Allen shines. No matter what happens during the shoot he just makes it work. When you’re paying models by the hour…this is what you want. Allen’s demeanor also lends itself to a successful shoot. He is easy to work with and makes the person/people on the other side of the camera comfortable while gaining their trust. This puts everyone at ease regardless of their role and you just end up with the shots you hoped for. There are a lot of photographers out there but Allen is one of the few who stand out above the rest.

We were very pleased with the work that Hardcastle Photography did on our behalf. They were easy to work with, met incredibly tight deadlines with prefect execution and really gave us a sense of security – we knew they would get the job done and the results would be fantastic…and they were! We won’t hesitate to use Hardcastle Photography for our next corporate shoot.
